Job Description

MAYDAY are excited to be assisting a global insurance brand with the recruitment of a Branch Manager/External Claims Adjuster for their Canberra Office, specialising in property claims. This role is pivotal in assisting with the progression of the business in attaining its organisational goals and providing essential support to internal stakeholders and external clients.

What will you be doing?
  • Manage a portfolio of claims and assist the policy holders and claimants with this process
  • Assess commercial and domestic loss from initial advice to settlement
  • Fully investigate claims but liaising with claimants, witnesses, physical damage and reports.
  • Settle the claims
  • Provide recommendations to litigation when appropriate
What experience should you have?
  • Property Claims Insurance experience - required
  • Leading a small team - advantageous 
  • Exceptional organisation skills
  • Full drivers licence
  • Strong communication skills
