The role:
  • Be a driver for the growth of digital commerce using your sales expertise and influence to develop and drive a strategic business plan to aggressively target and acquire new merchants and vendors
  • Proactively manage sales pipeline with the ability to shift changing priorities in both short and long-term sales cycles
  • Compose and deliver effective and appealing pitches and presentations tailored to individual business’ needs and priorities
  • Demonstrate superior communication and influencing ability when negotiating terms, contracts and closing deals
  • Develop and cultivate beneficial relationships with senior stakeholders and business leaders up to C-Suite level and display confidence in communication and an understanding of their varying requirements
  • Proactively contribute to the business, adding value wherever possible and keeping the customer at the epicentre of focus 
The ideal candidate:
  • 5 years’ experience building strategic partnerships and effective business relationships at all levels of seniority
  • Proven experience in retail and e-commerce 
  • Results-driven and ambitious individual who is passionate about taking ownership and driving success
  • Relationship builder and excellent communicator who will bring a positive attitude and presence to the team
  • Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or a related subject would be advantageous
