MAYDAY Recruitment is excited to be recruiting for an experienced Team Manager to lead a Workers Compensation team of 6 across the QLD, NSW, ACT and NT jurisdictions. This organisation is well established within the insurance space, and are continuously growing to provide the highest quality service to their clients.

The role will include, but not limited to: 
  • Manage and lead the NSW, QLD, ACT and NT workers compensation portfolio
  • Analyse data and forensically report an risks to the business
  • Day to day leadership of 6 team members to actively manage claims in accordance to legislation
  • Providing mentorship and being escalation point for all team members
  • Overseeing and leading process improvement initiatives across the teams
  • Liaising with clients and building customer focused relationships
  • Partner with cross functional internal stakeholders on various company wide projects
  • Being hands on and processing complex claims and escalations if required
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Strong leadership experience in managing a team within Workers Compensation
  • Ability to drive and influence change
  • Experience reporting data to a wider team confidentially
  • Initiate and drive process and continual improvements
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail, and excellent time management
  • Ability to coach and motivate other team members to achieve results
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
