Personally I love recruiting these roles. Lots to learn and a development path to potentially succeed the Credit Manager. AR / Collections in this company is less about phone bashing and more about tactical understanding of the customer's P2P process and how they think, operate, push back.
You'll be likely a Senior Collections / AR professional in a services environment and are thinking of where your next move will be. A company that has a global reach, a busy local business ($300m revenue across over 1,000 projects and contracts with major clients) and a mix of international and home-grown leaders. It's CBD based in a buzzing office and there are plenty of challenges.
Yes....things can go wrong, need fixing, organising, solving and some processes are imperfect. Numerous stakeholders, a lot of data. It's a big business with plenty of projects and problems to solve along the way.
What we need from You;
Someone who has a strong customer service ethic and plenty of collections & AR experience. You'll be able to demonstrate and understanding of customer procedures, project milestones and stakeholder management.
Industry background is not so important but working with larger, more complex customer accounts like you'd find in financial services or large construction projects would be ideal. Y
Ambition, a mind for innovation and the desire to mentor and grow.
