MAYDAY is excited to be partnered with a global insurer who are on the look out for an experienced HR Business Partner to be the lead contact for the leadership team and employees within the allocated client groups, and to ensure the timely delivery of a range of HR services, advice, and expertise. This is an initial 12 month contract, partnering with another HR BP.

- Provide strategic HR support to the leadership team within allocated client groups
- Coach and mentor the leadership team, managers and employees on all HR employment practices and policies
- Work closely with the leadership teams to drive the cultural model and D&I agenda within their teams
- Work closely with the HRBP – Resourcing on recruitment needs for allocated client groups
- Work with leaders to ensure Annual performance and compensation review cycle deadlines are met
- Proactively assist managers with employee queries and issues requiring legal and/or policy advice
- Liaise with HR administration and payroll team to ensure timely and quality documentation provided for employees
- Tertiary qualifications in HR or related field
- HR experience in a large / global company
- Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation
- Experience in performance management process, employee relations and recruitment and selection
- Demonstrated success in the design, development, delivery and piloting of learning in response to identified learning needs and specifications, appropriately utilising the range of best practice learning techniques
- Attention to detail, ability to analyse data and identify trends
