MAYDAY are excited to be assisting a global insurance brand with the recruitment of a Claims Assessor to support their strata portfolio and be based out of their Sydney Office.
This role is pivotal in assisting with the assessing, management and settlement of strata claims both office and field based.

- Provide both field and office based assessments of strata claims
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholder to update and progress the claims process
- Manage a portfolio of strata claims and assist the policy holders and claimants with this process
- Assess commercial loss from initial advice to settlement
- Fully investigate claims but liaising with claimants, witnesses, physical damage and reports
- Settle the claims
- Provide recommendations to litigation when appropriate
- Experience in managing property claims ideal
- Loss Adjusting experience an advantage
- Prior experience as an Estimator will also be considered
- Exceptional organisation skills
- Full drivers licence
- Strong communication skills
