MAYDAY Recruitment are proud to be searching for a Credit Officer for a leading insurer in Sydney. This role will manage the reconciliation of multinational cash collections, including analysing and identifying unmatched credit or debits.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in a large team, partnering with and advising senior stakeholders across the business on a multinational level.

What you will be doing day to day
  • Reconciliation for cash collections and settlements to appropriate sub-ledgers
  • Analyse ledgers and reports to identify unmatched credits/debits
  • Responsibility for identifying and resolving Inter Company out of balances (OOB’s)
  • Ensuring Accounting procedures are being followed and that set KPI’s are met including both cash collections/settlements
  • Reporting to Home Office on SRFI (50B & 51D Cash Flow Program) bordereau
  • Responsibility for monthly Cash Fax reporting
  • Assisting the Credit Manager in compilation and analysis of reports
  • Responsibility for reconciliation of Captive accounts
To be successful in the role you will need:
  • Experience in the Insurance/Financial Services industry
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability meet deadlines
  • Eye for detail and accuracy
  • Prior People Soft experience is desirable
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications, e.g. Word, Excel and Outlook
