In this role you will be responsible for running the weekly payroll function for permanent and temporary staff. The role will involve: 
  • Working in a team running a busy end to end weekly payroll
  • Prepare monthly and annual payroll tax reconciliations and returns
  • Manage payments by following the SOP, including reconciling the deductions and preparing the fund payment
  • Preparation of reconciliations and payments to super funds
  • Running weekly payroll for both permanent and temporary staff
  • Provide day-to-day assistance in managing employee queries and CRM tickets
  • Handle payroll, tax and overtime queries
  • Work collaboratively and support broader payroll initiatives to deliver on core objectives and achievements 
The ideal candidate will demonstrate: 
  • 2 - 3 years’ experience in payroll
  • Experience in large scale Payroll function 3000 + employees with complex payroll structures
  • In depth knowledge of payroll and payroll related legislation and related tax and Super
  • A good understanding of Payroll Processes and Accounting
  • Can demonstrate a proven ability to interact with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven SAP Payroll experience with S4/Hana a distinct advantage
  • Intermediate - Advanced Microsoft skills including Excel (VLook Up & Pivot Tables are key)
  • Exceptional verbal and advanced writing skills
  • Flexibility to cover annual leave if required
