Job Description

MAYDAY is delighted to be recruiting for a Rehabilitation Specialist for a mat leave cover for one of our fantastic Self-Insurance clients in Sydney. 

This role is pivotal to ensure strong business outcomes for a thriving workers compensation team in this 12 month maternity cover, with the potential to be extended/made permanent.

What will you be doing?
  • Providing efficient and effective claims rehabilitation and services, supporting early return to work for around 30 claims
  • Managing claims teams external rehabilitation and treatment provider services
  • Building strong and lasting business relationships with key business partners
  • Ensure national consistency in customer service, claims and injury management
  • Workers Compensation claims activities adhere to legal and regulatory requirements across all jurisdictions
  • Providing internal/external stakeholder training based on identified development need and opportunities
What experience do you need?
  • An allied health professional or experience in a similar role
  • Experience with return to work planning
  • Prior management of stakeholder engagement
  • Knowledge and understanding of determining liability 
  • Detailed use and knowledge of Microsoft Suite
  • Full work rights in Australia
