MAYDAY are excited to be recruiting for a motivated and experienced Senior Project Manager to support a busy Government department in Parramatta.

What's in it for you:

9-month contract with an immediate start

$800 - $900 per day plus Super
Parramatta location
8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Share your expertise with an open and collaborative team
Lead on an exciting Government Project to implement improvements and changes

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule to ensure objectives are met
Implement Contract Management and a Purchasing Hub for a busy Government department
Define and manage project scope, time, quality, cost, resourcing, procurement, change, integration, stakeholders & comms
Track project progress and compile project status reports as required
Identify, monitor and mitigate project issues and risks

You will need:

6+ years’ experience with transformational change projects
Experience working with a Government Department desirable
Pass a full background check
Ability to commit to a 9-month contract
Be adaptable to a fast-paced, changing environment
Have the ability to think outside-of-the-box
