MAYDAY is currently looking for an ambitious Claims Officer to join a large global insurance brand to work in their fast-paced & engaging team supporting with claims handling, assessments, recommendations and negotiations with internal/external stakeholders.

- Working hours, Monday- Friday 8:30 am- 5:00 pm.

- Reviewing and analyzing contents of trade credit insurance claim filings for validity and coverage analysis to determine liability.
- Assist internal Collections team in strategic planning and provide support on legal and insolvency related matters.
- Handling official communications to external stakeholders regarding supporting documentation and/or claims assessment outcomes.
- Negotiating with policyholders, brokers, legal and insolvency practitioners.
- Claims assessment and policy compliance
- Managing internal financial / accounting reconciliations and assisting with management reporting obligation
- Attention to detail with a customer service focus
- Previous experience in claims for Trade Credit Insurance or wholesale insurance ideal
- Transferable skills within the insurance space
- Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders
- Firm grasp of corporate insolvency processes, compliance, and regulatory requirements ideal but not required
