Meet our lifesaver of October – Michelle!

Michelle has been temping for MAYDAY for over a year for a couple of our clients and we have received two separate nominations from her current placement.

Well done Michelle on winning MAYDAY’s Lifesaver of the Month, how do you feel? 

It feels amazing to be recognised by the agency and also to be nominated by the company. Makes me feel like I am doing a good job and representing all parties to a high standard.

What is the most interesting thing you have learnt since being in your role? 

The most interesting thing I have learnt is being able to adapt quickly to my first job abroad and how easily I became part of the team. I have enhanced my skills in all aspects across my role, that I know will stick with me for future roles.

What advice would you give someone going into a new contract role?

The advice I would give is to stick it out more than a few weeks as it can be overwhelming at first. To always keep an open mind when learning new tasks and responsibilities.
