How it works
We assess your skills and potential using the latest in gamified technology and through an in-depth interview process, to understand your suitability to the recruitment industry.
We place you with one of our incredible agency clients - whoever is best suited to your background, culture fit and interests.
We train you in the fundamentals of recruitment! A face-to-face group training workshop where you'll interact with other Recruitment Rookies, learn the basics and really start to understand what recruitment is all about.
We give you ongoing training and support for the first 6 months of your role, with virtual training every fortnight, and a mentor session with an industry leader.
We work with agencies that want farmers as well as hunters. And we'll place you with the best company to match your individual strengths.

- Vanessa started at MAYDAY as a rookie in 2017, coming from an acting career
- After 3 years as a Recruitment Consultant, she followed her passion for helping people soar, leading to the creation of a new role at MAYDAY; Training & Project Coordinator
- She completed a Certificate in Training, at the Australian Institute of Management
- Vanessa co-developed Future Recruiter and stepped into her position as Training Manager in 2021
