Due to continued growth, they are seeking a driven and proactive Account Executive to join their international sales team. This role is focused on generating new business across mid-market organisations and driving revenue growth across a suite of data and insight products.
The Opportunity
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for building and managing a new business pipeline, leading the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close, and achieving, ideally exceeding annual revenue targets. This is a highly consultative sales role suited to someone who thrives in a performance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within target mid-market segments
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and qualification through to proposal, negotiation and close
- Build strong, long-term client relationships by understanding operational challenges and aligning data solutions accordingly
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations tailored to technical and commercial stakeholders
- Collaborate with technical and analytics teams to ensure proposed solutions meet client requirements
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
- Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline reporting
- Draft and negotiate proposals, quotes and service agreements
- Represent the organisation at industry events and networking forums
- Travel within the region as required
- Proven experience in B2B new business sales within equipment rental, construction, heavy machinery, fleet or related sectors
- Solid understanding of data related services such as BI tools and data analytics
- Established industry network across rental businesses, contractors, OEMs or construction operators highly regarded
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, consultative sales processes with multiple stakeholders
- Self-motivated, resilient and target-focused
- Comfortable travelling and attending industry events to build relationships
