Our client is a global fleet management and asset insights organisation delivering data-driven solutions to businesses across the commercial vehicle and equipment sectors. Through advanced reporting tools, valuation services and market intelligence platforms, they empower organisations to make informed decisions, optimise performance and maximise return on investment.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking a driven and proactive Account Executive to join their international sales team. This role is focused on generating new business across mid-market organisations and driving revenue growth across a suite of data and insight products.

The Opportunity
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for building and managing a new business pipeline, leading the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close, and achieving, ideally exceeding annual revenue targets. This is a highly consultative sales role suited to someone who thrives in a performance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within target mid-market segments
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and qualification through to proposal, negotiation and close
  • Build strong, long-term client relationships by understanding operational challenges and aligning data solutions accordingly
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations tailored to technical and commercial stakeholders
  • Collaborate with technical and analytics teams to ensure proposed solutions meet client requirements
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline reporting
  • Draft and negotiate proposals, quotes and service agreements
  • Represent the organisation at industry events and networking forums
  • Travel within the region as required
About You
  • Proven experience in B2B new business sales within equipment rental, construction, heavy machinery, fleet or related sectors
  • Solid understanding of data related services such as BI tools and data analytics
  • Established industry network across rental businesses, contractors, OEMs or construction operators highly regarded
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, consultative sales processes with multiple stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, resilient and target-focused
  • Comfortable travelling and attending industry events to build relationships
