How do I register with MAYDAY?
You can register by submitting your CV through our website or applying for any live role.
Do I need experience to apply for roles?
Not always. We recruit for entry-level through to specialist and senior roles. If you’re early in your career, we’ll help you identify roles that match your skills, strengths and potential.
How often will I get paid as a temp or contractor?
Our contractors are paid weekly. Once your timesheet is approved, payment is processed in the next payroll cycle.
How do timesheets work?
We use an online timesheet system that makes submitting hours simple. You’ll also be able to view payslips, update details and track your assignments all in one place.
What support does MAYDAY provide while I’m on assignment?
You’ll have access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP), regular check-ins, access to our team for any questions and invitations to contractor events and wellness initiatives. You’ll see and hear from us regularly!

I applied for a role. When will I hear back?
We aim to respond as quickly as possible. If you’re shortlisted, a consultant will contact you directly. If not, we’ll still keep your profile on our radar for future opportunities that match your skills.
What happens after my assignment ends?
We’ll help you line up your next opportunity. Many of our contractors move between assignments with MAYDAY or convert to permanent roles as teams grow.
Do you offer permanent roles as well as temporary and contract work?
Yes. Whether you’re looking for a permanent move, a short-term assignment, or flexibility through contract work, we support all career pathways.
