Mayday is proud to be partnering with a respected and growing funeral services organisation to recruit a Customer Care & Administration Coordinator to join their Rhodes team.

This is a fast-paced, office-based role supporting a high-volume direct cremation service offering. Focused heavily on administration, communication, and process coordination, this position is ideal for someone who enjoys structured work, thrives in a busy environment, and can confidently manage customer conversations over the phone.

This is not a face-to-face service role - all communication is handled via phone and email. You’ll play a key role in guiding customers through processes, coordinating documentation, and ensuring arrangements progress efficiently and accurately.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing inbound customer enquiries and service requests
  • Explaining processes, documentation requirements, and timelines clearly and professionally
  • Coordinating administration from initial enquiry through to completion
  • Liaising with internal departments and sister companies
  • Following up outstanding documentation and information
  • Working within KPI-driven turnaround timeframes
  • Maintaining accurate records and system updates

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong administration and organisational skills
  • Excellent phone communication and customer service ability
  • Confidence managing direct and sometimes sensitive conversations
  • A calm, patient, and process-driven approach
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Previous experience in contact centre, administration, customer service, or high-volume coordination roles

Experience within funeral services is not essential. Candidates from industries such as healthcare administration, insurance, logistics, contact centres, or other process-driven environments are encouraged to apply.

What’s on offer:

  • Full-time permanent opportunity
  • Monday to Friday hours only – no weekends
  • Supportive and collaborative office environment
  • Structured onboarding and training
  • Stable and growing organisation
  • 4 days onsite working from Rhodes office and 1 day from home

If you’re a strong communicator who enjoys structured administration and thrives in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.
