Full-time role | Looking for an experienced administrator who enjoys committee support
About the role:
Our client and not-for-profit are looking for an administrator to join their team on a short-term contract. This is a full-time role, working Monday – Friday. The company operates on a hybrid model, 2 days in the office and 3 days from home. The office is centrally located in Melbourne’s CBD, close to public transport.
The successful person will provide high-level administrative and project support to a specialist taskforce. Your contribution will be critical in ensuring meetings, documentation and reporting requirements are delivered to a high standard and within tight timeframes.
Key responsibilities include:

Organising and supporting taskforce and committee meetings, including agendas, papers and logistics

Taking and preparing accurate meeting minutes (highly regarded)

Tracking actions, risks, issues and deliverables across multiple workstreams
-
Preparing reports, briefing papers, dashboards and governance documentation

Coordinating input from internal teams and stakeholders
-
Supporting workshops, webinars and stakeholder engagement activities
-
Providing day-to-day project and administrative support
About you
-
A tertiary qualification in administration or a related discipline, or equivalent experience

Demonstrated experience organising meetings and supporting committees

Proven experience preparing reports and accurate documentation with exceptional attention to detail

Confidence managing your own workload in a changing environment

Proactive approach and the ability to build relationships quickly

Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Advanced skills across Microsoft Word, Excel and related systems

Experience within universities, medical colleges, professional membership bodies or government will be highly regarded.
