We’re partnering with a leading national retailer to recruit a Admin Advisor to join their Shared Services team during a busy peak period. This is an ASAP start through to the end of December, and a fantastic opportunity to gain experience within a high-volume corporate environment while supporting one of Australia’s most recognised brands.
About the Role
You’ll join a specialist team within the Shared Services function, providing administrative and case management support across a range of employee and third-party requests.
This is a high-volume, process-driven administration role, with a strong focus on case management and providing accurate, timely responses to requests. A large part of the role involves generating straightforward documentation through internal systems, such as employment letters and proof of salary requests for team members, banks and other third parties.
There will be some outbound phone contact when required, however this is very minimal, the role is predominantly focused on managing cases and completing administrative requests.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to a high volume of cases
- Provide appropriate responses to standard queries, reporting and data requests
- Generate letters of employment and Confirmation of Employment documentation through internal systems
- Process proof of salary and pay report requests from team members, banks and other third parties
- Complete training bookings and learning administration requests
- Maintain accurate records and update internal systems
- Manage cases from start to finish, ensuring requests are completed accurately and within required timeframes
- Complete occasional outbound calls where required to clarify or resolve requests
- Work collaboratively within a fast-paced, high-volume Shared Services environment
About You
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new systems
- Previous experience delivering high-volume administrative services highly desirable
- Clear and precise written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Strong problem-solving ability and a solutions-focused approach
- Goal-oriented with the ability to work towards targets and deadlines
- A strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritise competing requests
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Reliable, organised and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Confident working independently once trained
Role Details
- ASAP Start – contract through to the end of December
- Monday – Friday (38 hours)
- Training: 4–6 weeks full-time onboarding (in office)
- Location: Eight Mile Plains
- Work model:
- In office during training
- Flexibility to work from home 3 days per week once fully trained
- $34 PH + Super
