If you’re an experienced Auditor available for an immediate start, this is a standout opportunity to step into a temporary assignment with a highly respected advisory firm based in Sydney CBD. You’ll gain exposure to a diverse and interesting client portfolio while working alongside experienced professionals in a genuinely supportive, people-focused environment.
This role has been created to provide immediate support to the audit team while they recruit a permanent hire, with strong potential for extension or permanency for the right candidate.

The Opportunity
As an Auditor, you will play a key role in delivering high quality audit and assurance services across a broad client base. This is a varied, fast paced position offering strong exposure, responsibility, and the chance to further develop both your technical capability and commercial acumen.
Audit Delivery & Reporting
- Assist in planning, executing, and completing audit engagements across a diverse portfolio
- Prepare audit working papers, financial statements, and reports in line with professional standards
- Analyse financial data, identify key risks, and contribute to meaningful audit insights
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients across multiple industries
- Liaise directly with clients to gather information and resolve audit queries
- Deliver a high standard of service in a client-facing environment
Team Collaboration & Development
- Work closely with senior auditors, managers, and partners
- Contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team culture
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in audit, assurance, or financial reporting (Australian audit experience essential)
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
- CaseWare experience advantageous (not essential)
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Proactive, positive attitude with a strong learning mindset
- High level of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail
