MAYDAY Recruitment is seeking a driven and experienced BDM to join a growing global business in the financial technology and payments space.
This is an exciting opportunity for a true sales hunter who thrives on winning new business, building strong client relationships and closing high-value deals.
You will be working with businesses, finance leaders and decision-makers to provide innovative solutions that help simplify payments, financial operations and business spending.

- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new business opportunities
- Identify client needs and provide tailored solutions
- Present solutions to Finance Managers, CFOs, Accountants and other senior stakeholders
- Conduct meetings, product demonstrations and presentations via phone, video and face-to-face
- Negotiate and close high-value deals
- Consistently meet and exceed monthly sales targets
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new clients
- Keep accurate records and pipeline updates in Salesforce or a CRM system
- Stay up to date with market trends and competitor activity
The ideal candidate:
- 5+ years’ experience in a B2B sales role is preferred
- Experience selling SaaS, payments, financial services, FX or similar solutions preferred
- A proven track record of exceeding sales targets and closing large deals
- Confidence speaking with senior decision-makers
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- A consultative sales approach and the ability to build trust quickly
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
- A proactive, driven and resilient attitude
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Able to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience working with finance, accounting, banking or professional services clients will be highly regarded
