About the role
Working closely with the Buying team, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring products, purchase orders, and supplier information are managed accurately and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing administrative support to the Buying team
- Creating and processing purchase orders (full systems training provided)
- Maintaining accurate product, pricing, and supplier information
- Assisting with reporting, data analysis, and documentation
- Liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of products
- Supporting the team with general buying administration and coordination
- Assisting with ad hoc projects as required
About you
To be successful, you'll bring:
- Previous experience as a Buying Assistant, Buying Administrator, Merchandise Administrator, or in a retail buying support role (preferred)
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Intermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- The ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive, positive attitude with a willingness to learn and support the wider team
