Are you an experienced Claims Officer who enjoys managing claims end-to-end and delivering meaningful support when customers need it most?

MAYDAY is partnering with a growing travel insurance provider entering an exciting phase of expansion. This is an opportunity to join a high-performing, close-knit claims team where you will take ownership of your own portfolio and play a key role in delivering fair, timely, and compliant claim outcomes.

This is a hands-on position where no two claims are the same. You will apply your policy knowledge, analytical skills, and customer-first mindset to assess claims confidently, while contributing to a supportive team environment with genuine opportunities for career progression and professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of claims end-to-end, from initial notification through to final settlement.
  • Assess coverage in line with policy terms and conditions, applying limits, deductibles, and identifying recovery opportunities where applicable.
  • Maintain compliance with internal procedures and relevant legislation requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and key stakeholders, providing clear and empathetic support.
  • Maintain accurate records and meet service standards in a fast-paced environment.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement within the claims function.

What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum 1+ year end-to-end insurance claims management experience (essential), travel claims highly regarded.
  • Ability to assess claims independently and make sound decisions.
  • Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Investigative, analytical, and detail-oriented approach.
  • Professional, ethical, and patient demeanor with a proactive, collaborative mindset.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

If you're looking for a role where you can take ownership, build your expertise, and grow your career within a supportive and expanding organisation, we’d love to hear from you.
