MAYDAY Recruitment is partnering with a respected for-purpose organisation to recruit an experienced Communications Officer for a 6-week assignment
This is a fantastic opportunity to support a busy Media & Communications team, delivering high-quality, member-focused campaigns during a peak period.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in delivering impactful email campaigns and supporting broader communications initiatives. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, schedule and report on bulk email campaigns using Campaign Monitor
- Segment audiences and optimise campaign performance through data insights
- Write, edit and proofread engaging content across email, newsletters and digital channels
- Ensure best practice in email marketing including deliverability, accessibility and analytics
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail
- Support digital communications, including basic social media scheduling
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Australia and New Zealand
- Proven experience using Campaign Monitor
- Strong background in email marketing, segmentation and analytics
- Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Digitally savvy with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience with CMS platforms (desirable)
