This is an immediate opportunity for a 6-week temporary Customer Scheduling Coordinator, with potential for extension. Based in Melbourne’s Northern Suburbs, you will join a fast-paced and essential services environment where your coordination and customer service skills will directly support critical fire safety operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a high-volume inbox and responding to client queries in a timely and professional manner
- Scheduling trades and coordinating technicians for installation, servicing, and inspection of fire safety equipment
- Liaising with clients to confirm bookings, provide updates, and ensure service expectations are met
- Coordinating routine maintenance and compliance checks in line with fire safety regulations
- Re-prioritising daily schedules to accommodate urgent or reactive maintenance requests
- Managing customer escalations with a calm, solutions-focused approach
- Maintaining accurate service records and updating internal systems
- Previous experience in scheduling, coordination, or customer service (ideally within trades, facilities, or services-based environments)
- Proven ability to manage bookings or service schedules in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication skills with a professional and client-focused approach
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing demands
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Positive attitude and commitment to the full contract period
- Immediate start with potential for extension
