Claims Support Assistant Temporary to Permanent Opportunity | ASAP Start | 35.15ph + super

About the Role

We are seeking a Claims Support Assistant for an immediate start to join a highly respected, award-winning business recognised for outstanding customer service .

This is a temporary to permanent opportunity , giving you the chance to secure a long-term role based on performance and team fit.

You will be the first point of contact for customers managing warranty and insurance claims, providing clear, empathetic and accurate support via phone and email.

You’ll join a structured, supportive team environment with strong training, well-established systems, and a genuine focus on delivering excellent customer experiences.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for customer claims enquiries via phone and email
  • Provide accurate updates on claim status, coverage, documentation and timelines
  • Collect, verify and maintain customer and policy information
  • Accurately log and update claims in the system
  • Ensure timely escalation of claims to the Claims Management team
  • Maintain clear and detailed records of all interactions
  • Support the wider team in gathering information to progress claims efficiently
  • Identify and appropriately support vulnerable customers
  • Assist customers with communication barriers using appropriate support tools or referrals
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection requirements


About You

We are open to candidates from a range of backgrounds, including:

  • Customer service / call centre
  • Hospitality
  • Administration
  • Insurance (desirable but not essential)

You will bring:

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Empathy and a genuine desire to help people
  • A positive, proactive and adaptable attitude
  • Ability to follow structured processes and learn quickly


Training & Support

  • Comprehensive 2–4 week training program (approx. 35 modules)
  • Dedicated training manager and live call coaching
  • Gradual transition into live calls with ongoing support
