Are you passionate about delivering great customer service and looking for your next opportunity?

We’re looking for Customer Service Specialists to join a leading global insurance organisation based in Melbourne CBD. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, helping with their insurance enquiries and providing friendly, knowledgeable support across phone, email and online channels.

The Role
This is a full-time, 6-month contract running from 26 October 2026 to 26 April 2027.
You’ll work as part of a supportive customer service team, with comprehensive training provided to set you up for success.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Handling inbound phone-based customer enquiries
  • Managing written requests and email enquiries through internal systems
  • Making sales calls relating to new business
  • Following up with customers on non-sales enquiries
  • Providing clear, accurate and empathetic support to customers
  • Using multiple systems to record and manage customer interactions
  • Supporting customers across phone, email, online referrals and social media

Training & Support
You’ll receive 2 weeks of full-time training in the organisation’s Collins Street office before moving into a supported buddying period , working alongside experienced team members and trainers.
The contact centre operates between 8am and 8pm, so flexibility across these hours is required.

About You
We’re looking for people who genuinely enjoy helping others and are confident communicating with customers.
You’ll ideally have:

  • Previous customer service, call centre or phone-based experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for delivering a great customer experience
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple systems
  • Confidence working in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to remain calm, professional and empathetic when dealing with customers
  • A positive, collaborative approach and willingness to learn
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly pick up new systems

You don’t need previous insurance experience — full training will be provided.
