Executive Assistant to CEO

A role with influence beyond traditional EA support
We’re looking for an experienced Executive Assistant with 10+ years’ experience to work closely with the CEO of a growing business.
This is more than a traditional EA role. You’ll play a key part in executive support, marketing, business development, events and team coordination, with the opportunity to make a genuine impact on the future growth of the business.
About the Role
You’ll be responsible for:
- Providing high-level support to the CEO, including diary, inbox, meetings and priorities
- Anticipating needs, managing follow-ups and keeping actions moving
- Coordinating projects, events and key business initiatives
- Supporting marketing across LinkedIn, website, EDMs and other channels
- Creating presentations, proposals and marketing collateral
- Coordinating external marketing and creative providers
- Supporting business development, networking and client relationships
- Helping improve processes, systems and team capability
- Working closely with the wider team to drive accountability and outcomes
About You
You’ll be a highly organised, proactive and commercially minded professional who enjoys taking ownership and making things happen.
You’ll bring:
- 10+ years’ experience in EA, executive support or a similar role
- Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated marketing and content experience
- Excellent attention to detail and discretion
- Strong Microsoft Office 365 skills; Canva experience is advantageous
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and external clients
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
- The ability to influence, coordinate and support others without formal authority
- A genuine interest in business growth and continuous improvement
