With the New Year approaching and our media clients ramping up for 2026 , Mayday Recruitment is on the lookout for experienced business support professionals with media industry experience to join our network.
We partner with leading global and Australian media organisations , and we’re seeking talented individuals who have supported teams in TV, digital media, publishing, advertising, or production environments .
Whether you’re an experienced Receptionist, Administrative Assistant, Executive Assistant, or Office Manager, if you’ve worked in media, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities-
Diary and email management, meeting coordination in fast-paced media environments

Document preparation, correspondence, and data entry

Front-of-house and reception duties (where applicable)
-
Office coordination and general administrative support
-
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
-
Preparing reports, presentations, and meeting agendas
-
Managing travel arrangements and expense reconciliations
-
Assisting with onboarding of new staff and maintaining office supplies
-
Proven experience in a similar administrative or support role within media organisations
-
Strong communication and organisational skills
-
High attention to detail and accuracy
-
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

Experience with MS Office and/or ERP systems advantageous

$35.15 – $60 per hour + super (dependent on role and experience)
