Are you a confident, proactive professional with strong facilities or office management experience? MAYDAY is looking for a Facilities Coordinator to join a supportive, high-performing team in a busy multi-floor office in St Leonards, Sydney.
This role is open to candidates with Working Holiday Visas as well as full working rights, covering a short-term placement while a staff member is on leave. If you are ready to hit the ground running, this is your chance to gain hands-on facilities experience!
What’s on Offer
- Start Date: 20th March 2026
- End Date: 17th April 2026
- Hours: Onsite Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Location: St Leonards, NSW (5 min walk from the train & metro station)
- Pay: $37.13/hr + Super
- Team & Support: Work alongside 3 permanent team members in a collaborative environment
- Exposure & Development: Manage multi-floor office operations, onsite walkthroughs, WHS tasks, and event setups
- Variety & Responsibility: From arranging meeting rooms to liaising with service providers and contractors
- Oversee daily facilities operations, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained office environment
- Conduct on-site walkthroughs and support workplace health & safety requirements
- Arrange meeting rooms and coordinate various internal and external client events
- Liaise with service providers, building management, and contractors
- Provide general office administration and support vendor management
- Collaborate with a national facilities team
- Previous experience in facilities coordination, office management, or workplace operations
- Highly organised with strong multitasking abilities
- Confident communicator with excellent problem-solving skills
- Proactive, hands-on, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to spot WHS issues during walkthroughs and take action
