This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in establishing the operational framework for a high-profile workplace from the ground up. Working largely independently, you'll be responsible for developing the documentation, processes and procedures that will ensure the site is fully operational and ready for employees.
This role is ideal for someone with previous experience supporting office openings, workplace projects, facilities administration or project coordination, who enjoys creating structure, documentation and operational processes.
The Role
Reporting into the Workplace team, you will take ownership of establishing the facilities and workplace administration framework for a new corporate office, including:
- Developing site operational manuals, policies and procedures
- Creating Health & Safety documentation and workplace manuals
- Preparing emergency management documentation, including fire evacuation and emergency response procedures
- Developing facilities user guides and workplace operating procedures
- Coordinating facilities documentation and ensuring compliance requirements are met
- Working closely with contractors and internal stakeholders during the office set-up
- Assisting with workplace readiness and operational planning ahead of the office opening
- Supporting meeting room, reception and shared workplace set-up
- Coordinating operational schedules, processes and workplace documentation
- Acting as a key point of contact for facilities-related administration throughout the project
To be successful, you'll bring previous experience in a similar facilities, workplace or project coordination environment and be confident working with minimal supervision.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience supporting office relocations, fit-outs, workplace projects or new office openings
- Experience developing policies, procedures, operational manuals or workplace documentation
- Exposure to facilities management, workplace operations or corporate office environments
- Strong project coordination and organisational skills
- Excellent written communication with the ability to produce clear, professional documentation
- Confidence liaising with contractors and multiple stakeholders
- The ability to work independently, manage priorities and take ownership of outcomes
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with exceptional attention to detail
- ASAP start with an initial contract through until September
