The Opportunity
As the Finance Business Partner, you'll become a trusted advisor to operational leaders across the organisation, providing financial analysis, commercial insights and strategic recommendations that support informed decision-making.
You'll enjoy a varied role where no two days are the same, balancing business partnering with financial planning, analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Partner with stakeholders to provide commercial and financial advice that supports business performance
- Prepare budgets, forecasts and long-range financial plans
- Deliver monthly reporting, KPI analysis and insightful variance commentary
- Develop financial models, scenario analysis and cost-benefit assessments
- Support investment decisions, business cases and strategic initiatives
- Analyse operational and financial performance to identify opportunities and risks
- Drive improvements across reporting, financial systems and business processes
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, translating financial information into practical business insights
About You
You'll be commercially curious, relationship-focused and passionate about helping leaders make informed decisions.
You'll also bring:
- Degree qualifications in Accounting or Finance
- CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion
- Previous experience in Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, Commercial Finance or Management Accounting
- Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling skills
- Experience partnering with operational stakeholders and influencing decision making
- Advanced Excel skills and exposure to ERP systems and reporting tools
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex financial information
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience within not-for-profit, healthcare, aged care or government-funded environments
- Experience working across multiple business units or complex organisations
