Mayday Recruitment is partnering with a well-established organisation in the funeral services industry to find a compassionate and customer-focused Funeral Conductor / Arranger to join their Kelvin Grove team.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in a service-focused environment, and is looking for a rewarding long-term career where no two days are the same.

Whether your background is in hospitality, retail, events, customer service, community services, aviation, healthcare, or another people-focused industry, full training will be provided.

About the Role

As a Funeral Conductor / Arranger, you will support families during one of the most important moments of their lives, helping them plan and coordinate meaningful funeral services while ensuring every detail is delivered with care and professionalism.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Meeting with families to arrange personalised funeral services
  • Coordinating service logistics and ensuring everything runs smoothly
  • Conducting funeral services with professionalism and compassion
  • Providing exceptional customer service and support
  • Working closely with colleagues to deliver seamless experiences
  • Supporting daily operations across the location
  • Maintaining high standards of care, compliance, and professionalism

What We're Looking For

You don't need funeral industry experience to be successful in this role.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has strong customer service and communication skills
  • Is compassionate, empathetic, and professional
  • Remains calm and organised in emotionally sensitive situations
  • Enjoys helping people and making a positive impact
  • Has excellent attention to detail
  • Holds a current unrestricted driver's licence
  • Is physically capable of performing the inherent requirements of the role
