Mayday is proud to be partnering with a leading funeral services provider to recruit a compassionate and professional Funeral Arranger / Conductor for their Black Forest location.

This is a meaningful opportunity to join a supportive, people-focused team where you will guide families through every step of the funeral arrangement and service process with care, dignity, and respect.

In this role, you will take ownership of end-to-end funeral arrangements and conduct services, ensuring every detail is handled with professionalism and empathy during deeply emotional times.

Key responsibilities:
  • Meet with families to arrange and plan funeral services
  • Coordinate all operational and ceremonial details end-to-end
  • Conduct funeral services with professionalism and compassion
  • Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure seamless delivery
  • Provide calm, empathetic support to families at all times
About you:
  • Strong background in customer service, healthcare, aged care, or similar people-focused roles
  • Confident communicator with high emotional intelligence and empathy
  • Able to remain calm, organised, and respectful in sensitive situations
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional after-hours support

Experience in funeral services is highly regarded but not essential, as full training will be provided.
