HR Administrator (3-Month Temp Contract)

  • Melbourne Office - Hybrid Role | 2 Days Office / 3 Days WFH
  • $45–$50 per hour + Super
  • Immediate Start Preferred | Contract through to August 2026

Are you an organised, proactive HR administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes?

We’re partnering with a respected national membership organisation in the healthcare sector to find a capable and detail-oriented HR Administrator to support a busy People & Culture team during a key period of change.

This is a fantastic short-term opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, can hit the ground running, and is confident supporting employees across all levels of an organisation.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting change initiatives through position description updates, inbox management, and employee correspondence
  • Assisting with recruitment administration, including job ads, candidate communication, interview scheduling, and system updates
  • Maintaining accurate HR records, filing systems, and documentation
  • Managing transactional HR inbox enquiries and responding to routine policy/process questions
  • Providing general People & Culture administrative support, including reporting, coordination, and data entry tasks

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in HR administration, recruitment coordination, or People & Culture support
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills
  • Confidence handling routine HR queries using established processes and policies
  • Experience working with HR systems and Microsoft Office
  • HRIS experience is essential; exposure to Employment Hero is highly regarded
  • A positive, adaptable attitude with the ability to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance
  • Available to commence ASAP
