MAYDAY is proud to partner with a leading organisation undergoing an exciting period of growth and transformation, seeking a Senior HR Advisor to join their People & Culture team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor ready to take the next step into a senior partnering role. Working within a fast-paced, high-volume environment, you’ll partner closely with leaders across a workforce of 2,000+ employees, providing practical HR advice while helping shape people initiatives and capability.

This is a hands-on role offering genuine exposure to senior stakeholders, change, leadership development and broader HR strategy.

The Role

Reporting directly to the P&C Manager, you will:

  • Partner with leaders to deliver practical, commercially focused HR advice
  • Coach managers across performance, employee engagement and people matters
  • Support change management and organisational transformation initiatives
  • Contribute to talent, succession and workforce planning
  • Drive leadership capability and performance development initiatives
  • Support employee engagement and wellbeing programs
  • Provide guidance across the broader HR lifecycle, including ER/IR
  • Use people data and insights to identify trends and support decision-making
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across a large and diverse workforce
  • Travel to regional sites when required to support leaders and employees

About You

You’ll be an experienced HR Advisor or HR Generalist who is ready to step into a senior position and broaden your partnering experience.

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced managing HR across a large, high-volume workforce
  • Confident partnering and coaching leaders at all levels
  • Commercially minded, solutions-focused and comfortable working at pace
  • A strong communicator who can influence and build trusted relationships
  • Proactive, organised and able to use initiative without needing to be hand-held
  • Adaptable and quick to learn in a changing environment
  • Comfortable across generalist HR, with exposure to ER/IR highly regarded
  • Confident using HR data and insights to inform people decisions
  • Ideally tertiary qualified in HR, organisational behaviour or a related discipline

Why You’ll Love It

This is more than a traditional HR Advisor role. You’ll have the opportunity to step up into a senior position, work alongside experienced P&C professionals and develop your capability across a broad range of HR disciplines.

You’ll be supported by an experienced P&C Manager who is invested in developing the right person, while still giving you the autonomy and ownership to make the role your own.

  • Genuine opportunity for career development
  • Broad, hands-on HR partnering exposure
  • Work alongside an experienced People & Culture team
  • Exposure to a large and diverse workforce
  • Opportunity to make a genuine impact across the people agenda

If you’re an HR Advisor looking for your next challenge and ready to take that step into a senior role, we’d love to hear from you.
