I’m partnering with a dynamic not-for-profit organisation supporting the disability sector, who are seeking a hands-on HR Business Partner to join their team. You’ll be working with a diverse workforce, including people with lived experience of disability, in a pivotal role where you’ll manage complex employee relations cases from end-to-end and partner with leaders to drive best-practice HR strategies.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Provide expert HR guidance to managers and employees, acting as a trusted business partner
  • Lead complex employee relations cases from investigation through to resolution
  • Support organisational change and workforce planning initiatives
  • Develop and implement HR policies and strategies aligned with organisational goals
  • Travel between sites as required, ensuring consistent support across the organisation
About you:
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally in a complex or unionised environment
  • Strong capability in managing sensitive and complex ER matters
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
  • Hands-on, practical approach and solution-focused mindset
  • Lived experience of disability is highly encouraged – we value the unique perspectives and insight you bring

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary: $130,000 + superannuation + salary packaging
  • Hybrid working: Flexibility to work from home, with some travel between sites required
  • Impactful work: Directly support mission in the disability sector
  • Inclusive culture: the organisation embraces different perspectives to create a stronger, more connected workplace
  • Not-for-profit salary packaging options
