Our client a values driven not-for-profit in the community sector is looking for a HR Business Partner to join their team on a temporary basis. This is a full-time role initially contracted for 6-8 weeks, but could lead to longer term opportunities. The company offers hybrid work arrangements with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
About the Role:
- Build trusted relationships with leaders and provide expert advice across the full HR remit.
- Partner with areas of the business to provide advice and guidance under the SCHADS Award
- Support performance management, employee engagement, workforce planning, recruitment and onboarding.
- Lead and support employee and industrial relations matters including investigations and complex case management.
- Contribute to ongoing development and implementation of HR policies, systems and best practice frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with Workplace Relations and Organisational Development teams to deliver strategic people outcomes.
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources (or equivalent experience)
- Prior experience working under the SCHADS Award
- Strong generalist HR experience, ideally in a for-purpose organisation
- Knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practice
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex ER/IR matters
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
- High attention to detail, ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
