About the company
We’re partnering with a Local Government organisation in Melbourne’s south-east to engage an experienced Instructional Designer for a short-term contract, supporting the development of engaging eLearning modules.
This role will focus purely on design and development, using Articulate 360, with content largely pre-existing and ready to be refreshed and brought to life.
Key Responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for designing and developing a suite of eLearning modules, primarily focused on onboarding and compliance training. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you’ll translate requirements into clear, engaging, and user-friendly digital learning experiences.
- Design and develop eLearning modules using Articulate 360
- Update and refresh existing onboarding and compliance content
- Partner with stakeholders to gather and interpret module requirements
- Manage timelines and deliverables across the project lifecycle
- Ensure content is engaging, accessible, and aligned to best practice
- Proven experience as an Instructional Designer, ideally within complex organisations
- Strong capability in Articulate 360
- Experience developing compliance and induction learning modules
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Strong project management skills with the ability to work autonomously
- Government experience is advantageous but not essential
- 2.5-month contract through to end of June 2026
- $70 per hour + super
