MAYDAY Recruitment is partnering with a leading national insurance brokerage to find an organised, detail-focused Insurance Broker (Account Executive) to join their high-performing Sydney CBD team.

No previous insurance experience needed - this is an exciting opportunity who someone who wants to build and develop their career as an insurance broker, with a growing and leading insurance broker!

Main responsibilities include:

  • Support senior brokers with client portfolio management.

  • Build strong client relationships and provide exceptional service.

  • Research insurance markets, prepare quotes, and negotiate with insurers.

  • Conduct risk assessments and recommend suitable insurance solutions.

  • Assist with policy renewals to ensure ongoing, appropriate coverage.

  • Maintain accurate records of policies, interactions, and claim activity.

  • Support clients through claims and liaise with insurers for timely outcomes.

  • Stay informed on industry trends, insurance products, and regulatory changes.


The ideal candidate:

  • Previous experience in insurance or a strong customer service background an advantage, but no required. 

    Can sponsor for the right candidate - level of insurance or relevant experience required for sponsorship! 

  • Desire to build a career within the insurance space, and completion of tier 1 certificate as part of your training. 

  • Highly organised with the ability to juggle competing priorities.

  • Strong communication skills and a professional, client-focused approach.

  • Confident using MS Office and digital systems.

  • A natural problem-solver with a proactive attitude.

  • Detail-oriented with a keen interest in learning and growing within broking.

  • Enjoys working both independently and within a collaborative team.

  • Ability to work in a well polished and corporate environment.
