Main responsibilities include:
- Lead and support a team responsible for in-specie transfers and asset movements
- Create a positive team environment that encourages accountability and collaboration
- Provide day-to-day guidance, particularly on more complex or sensitive cases
- Oversee the end-to-end transfer process across various asset types and platforms
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness and compliance across all transactions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders (e.g. brokers, custodians, registries)
- Support team capability through coaching, feedback and development
- Help identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce risk
- Manage workloads and priorities to meet service standards and deadlines
The ideal candidate:
- Experience in a team leadership or senior operational role within financial services
- Strong exposure to in-specie transfers, asset movements or platform operations
- Working knowledge of CHESS, registries, custodians or similar environments
- The ability to manage complex workflows and competing priorities
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A hands-on leadership style with a focus on team development
- High attention to detail and a strong understanding of risk and compliance
- A proactive and solutions-driven mindset
