MAYDAY Recruitment is partnering with a leading healthcare provider to recruit an experienced Medical Workforce Coordinator . This pivotal role supports the Medical Workforce Unit by delivering high-quality administrative services across junior medical workforce operations, ensuring seamless recruitment, rostering, payroll, onboarding, and ongoing support.
This position is ideal for a highly organised professional with strong knowledge of medical workforce processes, industrial awards, and stakeholder engagement within a hospital or health services environment.

What the role involves:
  • Coordinate Junior Medical Officer (JMO) rostering, ensuring equity, compliance, and effective overtime management
  • Manage JMO payroll processes, including roster verification, overtime, and payroll adjustments
  • Audit and process JMO overtime claims, liaising with relevant health districts as required
  • Coordinate JMO recruitment, credentialing, onboarding, and rotation processes
  • Provide administrative support including reporting, correspondence, database maintenance, and compliance audits (AHPRA, visas, WWCC, training)
  • Act as a key point of contact for JMO and senior medical staff enquiries, supporting orientation and wellbeing
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant industrial awards, legislation, and workforce policies
  • Support workforce planning, reporting, accreditation requirements, and medical staff orientation activities
About You!
  • Demonstrated experience in medical workforce coordination, rostering, payroll, or hospital administration
  • Strong understanding of medical workforce awards, compliance, and safe working hour requirements
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficiency in workforce systems, databases, and reporting tools
