As Mortician Supervisor, you will be responsible for the respectful preparation and care of the deceased, while supervising and mentoring a dedicated team of mortuary staff. You bring calm, confidence, and attention to detail to every aspect of your work.

• Lead and supervise all mortuary preparation activities with absolute professionalism.

• Oversee and mentor junior staff, providing training and guidance in all mortuary procedures.

• Ensure compliance with legal, health, safety, and industry regulations at all times.

• Perform restorative work, dressing, and casketing to a high standard.

• Maintain accurate mortuary records, documentation, and reporting.

• Coordinate with Funeral Directors to support service delivery and family needs.

• Uphold the funeral service provider’s standards of dignity, respect, and excellence in every detail.

• Proven experience in mortuary practice and supervision. Formal qualifications in mortuary, embalming, or related discipline would be advantageous, but not essential. Related disciplines will be considered.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• A calm and respectful approach under all circumstances.

• Commitment to quality, safety, and ethical standards.

• Background in logistics or operational coordination is highly desirable.
