Are you a confident and motivated Motor Claims professional ready to advance your career? MAYDAY is looking for 4 Motor Claims Consultants to join a supportive, high-performing team in Parramatta .
Be part of a national claims team , reducing aged commercial motor claims while developing your expertise.
This role is open to candidates on Working Holiday Visas as well as those with full working rights , with strong potential to convert to permanent employment .
The successful candidate will have motor claims experience and be ready to hit the ground running .

What’s on Offer
- Start Date: Mid-Jan 2026
- Contract: 6-month FTC, with potential for permanent opportunities
- Hours: 8:45 am – 5:00 pm (36.25 hours/week)
- Location: Parramatta, NSW
- Salary: $80k – $82k + Super
- Flexible Working: Hybrid – Monday & Tuesday in-office, 3 days WFH after training

- Review aged claims to identify delays and determine next steps
- Confidently assess claims files and ensure all information is accurate
- Follow up with brokers, clients, or stakeholders as required
- Update claim diaries and track actions taken
- Identify gaps or missed steps by the settlements team to ensure timely resolution
- Manage aged claims and assist with overflow tasks across multiple states
- Make outbound calls and provide confident, customer-focused service
- Gradually increase authority and responsibility as experience grows
- Commercial motor claims experience – essential
- Confidence on the phone and a proactive approach
- Ability to take initiative in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to support teams nationally and handle hands-on claims work
