We’re on the lookout for a Claims Consultant to join a specialist motor insurance business based in Brisbane CBD
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role, and the team is currently under the pump – so we’re looking for someone who’s ready to jump in, take ownership, and be a strong team player.

Salary: $78,000 – $82,000 + Super, depending on experience
Location: Brisbane
Hybrid Work arrangement - 3 days in office, 2 days from home
Main responsibilities include:
- Guide brokers and stakeholders through the claims process, explaining requirements and steps.
- Assist clients in preparing necessary documents to support their claims.
- Facilitate effective communication to expedite the claims process.
- Provide prompt attention to all claims from initial contact to settlement.
- Investigate claims to assess their validity, gather evidence, and collaborate with involved parties.
- Negotiate with insurance companies to secure fair settlements for clients.
- Advocate for policyholders' rights to ensure they receive the benefits they are entitled to.
- Manage claim-related documentation and maintain accurate claim file notes.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth claim processes.
- Participate in projects to improve efficiency and reduce operational risk.
We're ideally seeking someone with:

End-to-end claims management experience

Preferably a background in motor insurance

Comfortable handling a portfolio of approx. 250 claims

Broker-facing experience is a bonus

Open to strong candidates from other lines of insurance
