Main responsibilities include:
- Drive strategy and direction for Business Package and Farm portfolios, including underwriting appetite, pricing, and reinsurance planning.
- Analyse market trends, claims data, and portfolio performance to inform decisions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, intermediaries, and internal stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor a team of Portfolio Specialists, fostering knowledge sharing and professional growth.
- Monitor portfolio performance and ensure all activities comply with regulatory, legal, and risk frameworks.
The ideal candidate:
- Extensive experience in general insurance underwriting and portfolio management
- Experience in Business Package and Farm products required.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders.
- Highly organised, commercially minded, and able to deliver results in a fast-paced, national role.
