Office Manager / Senior Receptionist
St Leonards, NSW | Full-time, Permanent | 9:00am – 5:00pm

About the Role
We are partnering with a well-established, family-owned accounting practice based in St Leonards to recruit a highly organised and experienced Office Manager / Senior Receptionist.

This is a key front-of-house role supporting the smooth running of a busy accounting practice with a large and loyal client base. You will be the first point of contact for clients and will also oversee and support junior staff within the office.

The ideal candidate will be confident, professional, and able to manage a varied role in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the front desk and act as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and stakeholders
  • Oversee and support junior staff, providing day-to-day guidance and coordination
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and client enquiries in a professional and timely manner
  • Coordinate appointments, meetings, and calendars for accountants and partners
  • Support general office administration and ensure smooth daily operations
  • Assist with document management, filing, and basic data entry as required
  • Maintain a high level of client service and professionalism at all times
  • Work collaboratively with accountants and broader administrative team
  • Ensure the reception and office environment is well-presented and organised

About You
  • Previous experience in a Receptionist, Senior Receptionist, or Office Manager role
  • Experience within an accounting practice or professional services environment highly regarded (legal, financial services, or corporate also considered)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional phone manner
  • Highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment
  • Confident working both independently and as part of a close-knit team
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior staff is highly desirable
  • Reliable, proactive, and committed to providing excellent client service

Role Details
  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Office-based role (St Leonards, NSW)
  • Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
  • Salary: $90,000 - $105,000 + Super (depending on experience)
