MAYDAY Recruitment is currently partnering with a leading healthcare organisation to recruit an experienced Patient Care Coordinator to join their Sydney CBD team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in healthcare administration, medical reception or patient services to join a busy and supportive environment where you'll play a key role in ensuring patients receive a seamless experience throughout their care journey.

The organisation is seeking someone who is proactive, highly organised and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, with strong potential for the role to convert to a permanent position. Sponsorship may also be considered for the right candidate.

Role Details

๐Ÿ“ Location: Sydney CBD

๐Ÿ•˜ Hours: Monday–Friday, full-time hours

๐Ÿ’ฐ Rate: $37–$38/hr + Super

๐Ÿ“… Duration: Initial 6-month contract

๐Ÿš€ Immediate start available

๐ŸŒ Sponsorship opportunities available for the right candidate

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for patients and healthcare providers

• Coordinate appointments and manage clinician schedules

• Manage referrals, patient records and appointment bookings

• Liaise with patients, clinicians and external stakeholders

• Assist with billing, invoicing and administrative processes

• Maintain accurate records across internal systems

• Ensure a positive and professional patient experience throughout the care journey

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in healthcare administration, medical reception, patient coordination or a similar role

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Professional, empathetic and customer-focused approach

• Experience using medical or healthcare systems highly regarded
