Working closely with the Finance and Payroll Manager, you will provide essential support across financial processing, reconciliations, reporting, and payroll administration. - Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Allocate customer payments and complete debtor account reconciliations.
- Reconcile supplier statements and assist with payment runs.
- Complete bank reconciliations and support month-end finance activities.
- Maintain accurate financial records, documentation, and reporting requirements.
- Support the Finance Manager with reporting, analysis, and ad hoc finance tasks.
- Assist with payroll administration, including maintaining employee records and preparing payroll information.
- Prepare payroll reports and supporting documentation as required.
- Respond to payroll queries and escalate matters where appropriate.
- Support payroll reconciliations and compliance requirements.
- Maintain confidential employee and financial information with a high level of discretion.
- Assist with process improvements, system updates, and administrative initiatives.
- Provide general administrative support across Finance and Payroll functions.
About you:
- Previous experience within finance, accounts or payroll.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
- A proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- The ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Experience within recruitment, labour hire, or a similar fast-paced environment will be highly regarded.
- Exposure to payroll or accounting systems such as Xero, Astute, or similar platforms will be advantageous.
