As a Payroll Advisor, you’ll be a key escalation point for complex payroll matters, supporting the end-to-end weekly payrun and ensuring issues are resolved through detailed root-cause analysis. Working closely with the Enablement Lead and Product Owner, you’ll help maintain pay accuracy, governance, and continuous improvement across payroll operations.

What you’ll be doing

Supporting the end-to-end payroll delivery process, with a focus on complex issues arising during weekly payruns
-
Conducting detailed root-cause analysis on escalated payroll cases to ensure accurate and compliant outcomes

Supporting payroll-related projects and implementation initiatives within the team

Proactively identifying, escalating, and mitigating risks that may impact pay accuracy metrics

Acting as a payroll subject matter expert to support consistent and high-quality payroll delivery

Partnering with the Enablement Lead and Product Owner to ensure appropriate resourcing and capability alignment each pay cycle

Ensuring all critical payroll process components are completed each week, escalating any gaps or risks

Supporting Payroll Officers with complex payroll transactions across weekly agile delivery cadences

Maintaining strict confidentiality, data integrity, and governance across all people systems
-
Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance payroll accuracy, productivity, and team effectiveness
What you’ll bring

Solid payroll experience within complex or high-volume environments
-
Strong experience supporting weekly payroll operations and escalations
-
Proven ability to conduct investigations, root-cause analysis, and issue resolution
-
Exposure to major payroll systems such as SAP and/or Kronos (highly regarded)
-
High attention to detail and ability to work confidently to tight deadlines
-
A collaborative, proactive, and team-focused mindset
