As a Payroll Advisor, you’ll be a key escalation point for complex payroll matters, supporting the end-to-end weekly payrun and ensuring issues are resolved through detailed root-cause analysis. Working closely with the Enablement Lead and Product Owner, you’ll help maintain pay accuracy, governance, and continuous improvement across payroll operations.

What you’ll be doing

• Supporting the end-to-end payroll delivery process, with a focus on complex issues arising during weekly payruns

• Conducting detailed root-cause analysis on escalated payroll cases to ensure accurate and compliant outcomes

• Supporting payroll-related projects and implementation initiatives within the team

• Proactively identifying, escalating, and mitigating risks that may impact pay accuracy metrics

• Acting as a payroll subject matter expert to support consistent and high-quality payroll delivery

• Partnering with the Enablement Lead and Product Owner to ensure appropriate resourcing and capability alignment each pay cycle

• Ensuring all critical payroll process components are completed each week, escalating any gaps or risks

• Supporting Payroll Officers with complex payroll transactions across weekly agile delivery cadences

• Maintaining strict confidentiality, data integrity, and governance across all people systems

• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance payroll accuracy, productivity, and team effectiveness

What you’ll bring

• Solid payroll experience within complex or high-volume environments

• Strong experience supporting weekly payroll operations and escalations

• Proven ability to conduct investigations, root-cause analysis, and issue resolution

• Exposure to major payroll systems such as SAP and/or Kronos (highly regarded)

• High attention to detail and ability to work confidently to tight deadlines

• A collaborative, proactive, and team-focused mindset
