About the Company
Our client is a leading healthcare organisation seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their established payroll team. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is confident managing complex payroll requirements.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering accurate and compliant end-to-end payroll while working across a diverse workforce with complex Awards and EBAs.
Key Responsibilities
- Process high-volume end-to-end payroll within a large and complex workforce.
- Process new starters, terminations, leave, allowances, deductions and payroll adjustments.
- Interpret and apply relevant Awards, EBAs and employment conditions.
- Ensure payroll is processed accurately and in line with legislation and compliance requirements.
- Respond to complex payroll queries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Complete payroll reconciliations, reporting and payroll checks.
- Maintain accurate employee and payroll records within UKG.
Skills and Experience
- Previous end-to-end payroll experience within a medium to large organisation.
- Strong experience using UKG or a similar enterprise payroll system.
- Solid knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, Awards, EBAs and superannuation.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good Excel skills and confidence working with payroll reporting and reconciliations.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.
- Healthcare or other complex, multi-site payroll experience would be highly regarded.
